Why this campaign matters

Women and children in shelters are often navigating crisis with few personal belongings and limited access to everyday comforts. With Mother's Day approaching, we want every family in shelter to feel safe, warm, and cared for — not overlooked.

Through Kind Reach, we assemble and deliver comfort kits and accept item donations including pajamas, hygiene products, journals, socks, and books. Financial gifts through GoFundMe fund mental health kits, hygiene support, and full family care packages in Calgary and Toronto.

100% of funds go directly to purchasing items for women and children in shelters in Calgary and Toronto.

Youth Emergency Shelter Support

We focused on young people in emergency shelters — assembling care packages with hygiene essentials, warm clothing, snacks, journals, and handwritten encouragement, plus pathways to mentors and mental health support. Thanks to early donors, we raised $118 through GoFundMe with 3 contributions during the active phase of this drive.

Valentine's Senior Support

For Valentine's Day, we focused on seniors in long-term care who are often overlooked — delivering roses, comfort items, activities, and handwritten encouragement. Thanks to donors and volunteers, we raised over $1,320 and delivered more than 1,000 roses to brighten residents' days in Calgary and Toronto.
